MUC2 mRNA detection in peripheral blood and bone marrow of breast cancer patients reveals micrometastasis

Tumor dissemination to distant organ is the cause of death. Therefore there is urgent set up sensitive methods for early dete circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and disse tumor cells (DTCs) in peripheral blood (P bone marrow (BM) specimens of breas patients. We aim to detect MUC2 mRNA cells in PB and BM of breast cancer pati relate this to patient relapse.
